The seventh annual Almond Blossom Ball is set for Saturday, February 9, 2019. The ABB is an annual fundraiser for the arts program at Whittenberg Country School.
The ABB is typically held at the recreation hall at Ridgeway Park, and the doors open at 6. The event will feature a great selection of appetizers & desserts, some live music early on, and then the all-ages dance, along with a photo booth (so folks can get pics in their semi-formal duds). There will also be a silent auction, with a lot of high-quality items available.
Tickets go on sale in early December, and the plan is for the tickets to all be sold in advance (rather than at the door). Adult tickets are $15 each and youth (4-14) tickets are $7.50 each (kids 0-3 are free); each ticket also includes a free 5×7 photo from the photo booth. For tickets, please contact WCS at (530) 529-0866 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. [WCS families can get comp tickets by working a volunteer shift at the event.]
More information can be found at the ABB’s facebook page, at www.facebook.com/almondblossomball.
The Almond Blossom Ball helps to buy art supplies, pay art teachers, and more. A portion of the ABB funds will be used to help develop the new schoolhouse, to make it an even better place for the arts.
